TRNSFRM MOVEMENT
Functional Fitness Meaningful Movement
At TRNSFRM Movement we invite you to question the messages we’ve been fed about how our bodies should look, move, perform, or take up space. Movement is more than exercise or aesthetics to us— it’s a lifelong practice of decolonization. Our approach centers listening inward: honoring our histories, lived experiences, and the many ways our bodies carry us through the world.
We are a community that celebrates all identities, abilities, and sizes. Wherever you are in life, we’ll meet you there. Our goal is to support you—on your terms—and help you define what movement means for you.

Ace Rodriguez
Founder & CSEP-CPT Movement CoachAce (they/them/siya) is a queer, trans, Filipinx CSEP Certified Personal Trainer who’s passionate about exploring the fun and silliness in movement. Their approach centres on curiosity, self-compassion, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel good in their body and confident in how they move.
Their primary focus is working with the queer community, neurodiverse individuals, those living with chronic pain, and/or anyone who enjoys non-traditional forms of exercise.
Ace understands that many people have had a complicated relationship with fitness. Through their own experience of transitioning and recognizing the lack of queer and trans representation in their local fitness community, they became passionate about creating a space rooted in belonging and acceptance. Ace strives to make movement feel accessible, empowering, and genuinely enjoyable for everyone — no matter your starting point. They believe that movement is a powerful tool for connection and healing, and are driven to help others (re)discover a relationship with physical activity that feels positive, supportive, and sustainable.
Canfitpro Personal Training Specialist CJ Braxton
CJ (they/them) is a certified canfitpro personal training specialist. A calm, multifaceted, mysterious grandpa with a BA in Psychology, CJ grows in intensity when it comes to play, analyzing human behaviour, and contemplating the universe.
Growing up playing a range of sports, CJ often feels their most competent and capable when in movement and competition. Nowadays you can catch them playing spike ball and pickle ball, and maybe hear them talk about how much they want to wrestle, climb, and mountain bike. CJ likes to say that they were “gay out the womb”, and growing into their queer, trans, and neurodivergent identities has led them to a great sense of community while simultaneously experiencing ostracism, especially in the fitness world.
New to the industry as a personal trainer, CJ is very interested in creating safe spaces for those who struggle to feel welcome, comfortable, and engaged in a gym setting. Whether you’re looking to reach your goals, build your physical literacy, or wiggle around like a noodle, CJ looks forward to helping you find your individual way of moving in your unique body.
